Description

The Learning Center Receptionist operates the Learning Center Help Desk. Responsibilities of the Receptionist include: greeting all individuals entering the Learning Center, directing students to their assigned tutors or professional staff, answering student, faculty, and staff questions; assisting students with scheduling appointments or completing Tutor Request Forms, answering the Learning Center phone, and keeping the Learning Center neat. The Receptionist may run errands or complete other office duties as assigned. Candidates for this position will: be a team player, display good customer services skills, agree to act appropriately in terms of communication, punctuality, and collegiality; and agree to act in a professional manner respecting all types of individuals in our diverse university community.
