Description

The Arts and Design Research Incubator (ADRI) in the College of Arts and Architecture seeks a work-study production and publicity assistant for support in all areas of ADRI programming for the academic school year 2017-2018 (end of August through early May). This is a great opportunity for anyone interested in learning about the behind-the-scenes operations of a multimedia performance, workshop, research, and lecture space, along with creating and implementing social media and other publicity campaigns. This production and publicity assistant will provide support in marketing and communications, website content updates, social media presence, and assisting with technical set-up and house management for all events, in addition to other projects as they arise. We are looking for someone to be on-site 15-20 hours a week. Familiarity with Penn State colleges and academic departments, along with expertise in social media tools including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, are desired. Technical experience in video, audio, projection, and live performance a plus. The ADRI provides support to high-impact arts and design research projects. Find out more at http://adri.psu.edu.
