Description

The Department of Campus Recreation is seeking Penn State students to work as Timing System Operators at the McCoy Natatorium. A Timing System Operator is responsible for operating the Colorado Timing System console and associated equipment during meets and events. Familiarity with Swimming and Diving events is required. Prior experience operating a Colorado Timing system, or an equivalent system, is preferred. Positions are available year-round. Must be a current Penn State student and available to work nights and weekends. Applications will be kept on file through July 31, 2018 and will be reviewed as positions become available. Preference is given to work study recipients. Campus Recreation is a department within Student Affairs that provides fitness, wellness, and recreational programs to the campus community through the operation and administration of the new expanded and renovated 200,000 sf Intramural Building, the McCoy Natatorium, the 700-acre Stone Valley Outdoor Recreation Area, a Tennis Center including six clay courts and four indoor courts, the White Building, Adventure Recreation, Aquatics, Club Sports, Fitness and Wellness Programs, and Intramural Sports.
