The Civic and Community Engagement Minor has a vacant federal work study student staff position for the spring 2018 semester. The successful candidate for the CIVCM Ambassador position will work in collaboration with the Civic and Community Engagement faculty/staff team Coordinators. Duties: provide support for Civic and Community Engagement Coordinators; identify classes that have a Civic and Community Engagement component; reach out to faculty to explain the CIVCM minor; assist with activities and events; assist with outreach to the community for student service learning; assist students with CIVCM minor applications; assist student interns with updating relevant social media and websites; assist with logging student volunteer hours; assist with ongoing research data collection and analysis; perform other duties as assigned. The successful candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills. This is a Federal Work Study position with flexible hours (10 hours per week).
