The Service Associate provides a wide variety of opportunities for students to learn and master different types of marketing, event planning, and organizational management. The Service Associate will work to coordinate the on-campus food pantry, Lion Share and assist with service initiatives around campus. Skills needed: experience with Office Suite and an understanding of Adobe suites or the willing to learn; strong written and verbal communications skills, public speaking skills, flexible, good with logistics, dependable, takes initiative and completes projects in a timely manner, professional and detail oriented. Service Associate Duties: coordinate and implement service related programs for the fall and spring semester, assess the needs of the students by surveying, provide administrative support for programs and other service initiatives, and other duties as assigned. Additional Duties: Serve as additional coverage at the Lares Information Desk, Intersection, and other spaces as needed. Assist in compiling evaluations and data on student programs as well as assist in social media. Internship Credit may be a possibility. Preference will be given to a student that is looking for a full year position.
