The Stress and Health Lab at Penn State (directed by Dr. Jennifer Graham-Engeland) is seeking (to start this Spring or Summer) an undergraduate WorkStudy Research Administrative Assistant. Multiple lab studies are ongoing, including several funded by NIH, with emphases on understanding the effects of stress and mood on health across the lifespan. This is a WorkStudy position and will include largely administrative duties, but with an emphasis on supporting research and with opportunities for growth, such as into a Lab Manager position. This is a part-time position, with regular hours during the work week, approximately 10 hours per week. The position could begin in the Spring or Summer of 2019 with the strong possibility of continuing. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: Supporting the director in multiple tasks related to running a lab and research studies; Administrative and organizational tasks; Helping track budgets and make purchases; Literature searches; Assisting with studies, potentially including data entry and data cleaning. To be competitive, applicants should have a GPA of 3.4 or higher and experience using Word and Excel. Past relevant administrative experience is ideal but not required. Training in BBH, Psych, or biology/health-related field preferred.
