Description

Penn State Career Services is seeking 1-2 Penn State undergraduate students (preferred junior or senior) or graduate students who are interested in serving as Career Fair Interns for the Fall 2019 and Spring 2020 semesters. The chosen candidates will each work 10-15 hours per week. Primary responsibilities include assisting with the planning and logistical tasks associated with on-campus career fairs and programs (with each intern providing focused support to specific events, including Fall Career Days, Graduate and Professional School Week, the Impact Career Fair, Spring Careers Days, and/or Small Business and Start-up Fair); coordinating student volunteers for career fairs; providing team member support during special events; attending staff, team, and committee meetings; and performing other duties as assigned. A successful candidate will have exceptional organizational and time management skills along with strong communication and customer service skills. Preference will be given to candidates who are interested in joining the team for both Fall 2019 and Spring 2020 semesters. Applications will be reviewed after April 5, 2019.
