Description

Penn State Wilkes-Barre is seeking a work-study student to assist with Educational Game Editing Development. The student will assist in adapting interactive PowerPoint content and activities into game editor format and atmosphere. The student will work on two projects that aim to engage students in the communication challenges within law enforcement. The content includes scenes from Criminal Minds and the focus on the detective of Columbo, also a television series. The job requires a student who has strategic gaming experience, is comfortable and can use a game building/editor to upgrade the gaming aspects and to integrate a higher level of multi-media with the content and activities. Currently, multiple choice style questions, embedded video clips and images, internal links to other slides, external links for information and definitions or examples, communication scenarios, and character profiles have been created. The student will be expected to work 6-8 hours a week throughout the 2019-2020 academic year.
