Description

Housing and Food Services has student positions available in our housing maintenance operation. Working for Housing and Food Services at Behrend offers competitive wages, flexible scheduling, convenient locations, and a welcoming environment to enhance your work experience. Typical duties will include but not be limited to: change light bulbs, perform minor maintenance, assist full time maintenance staff, shovel snow, complete monthly visual inspections, and receive, move sort, store and deliver equipment, furnishings and operational supplies. Wages start at $9.50 per hour, with opportunities for tenure base and merit increases. Employee meal discount during working hours. This position may work up to 20 hours per week. Typical schedules are Monday – Friday, but days and hours may vary based on operational needs, possibly including weekend and evening hours. Successful candidates must be full time students to maintain employment.
