Description

The College of Agricultural Sciences Department of Animal Science is looking to hire Penn State students to fill work study positions to assist in a variety of farm duties. Animal species may include dairy cattle, beef cattle, sheep, horse, swine, poultry and whitetail deer. Duties include feeding, watering and cleaning stalls, grooming training, moving feed and bedding, milking and assisting with routine animal health care procedures. All individuals may need to operate motor vehicles while performing their duties. A valid driver`s license and successful completion of a motor vehicle records check will be required in addition to standard background checks.

These salary bands have been established to provide salary guidelines for staff positions.
