Description

Required: Student needs to have previously passed NUTR 119 with a C or higher. Must have current ServSafe Certification. Lab assistant works with full-time faculty to assist with the facilitation of the lab portion of NUTR 119. The Production Kitchen, used for the lab, is located at Penn State Berks. The student lab assistant will be responsible for ordering food and supplies needed for each lab. Provide the instructor with support with instruction and oversight of students in variety culinary tasks, from preparation, cooking, and clean up. Must ensure and maintain high standards in food safety and cleanliness of the production kitchen.
