Description

The Department of Campus Recreation is seeking Customer Service Representatives for Stone Valley Recreation Area. Customer Service Representatives are: Responsible for creating the “first impression” for Campus Recreation facilities; Responsible for greeting customers and providing exceptional customer service, including providing information or directing customers to appropriate staff when necessary; Will perform sales, rental registration, and boat rental processing; Assists with building security and guest sign-in; Answers telephones and helps enforce policies and procedures. Attend staff meetings, and maintain professionalism at all times, either while assisting members or attending to other work tasks. Customer Service Representatives possess the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with excellent interpersonal skills. Possess computer skills including Microsoft Office. Must be a team player, willing to cover or trade shifts when necessary. Must be able to work days, evenings, and weekends as necessary. Familiarity with cash handling/sales procedures is preferred. First Aid/CPR/AED certification preferred. Positions are mostly seasonal in nature with the bulk of the hours available in the Spring, Summer, and Fall. Campus Recreation is a department within Student Affairs that provides fitness, wellness, and recreational programs to the campus community through the operation and administration of the new expanded and renovated 200,000 sf Intramural Building, the McCoy Natatorium, the 700-acre Stone Valley Outdoor Recreation Area, a Tennis Center including six clay courts and four indoor courts, the White Building, Adventure Recreation, Aquatics, Club Sports, Fitness and Wellness Programs, and Intramural Sports.
