Description

The Department of Chemistry is seeking students, who have received a Federal Work-Study award, to work in a chemical research laboratory. Successful candidates should have completed courses in general and organic chemistry, and should have taken (or be currently taking) a biochemistry course equivalent to BMB 401 or CHEM 476. Duties will include, but are not limited to, working with faculty and graduate students on research tasks relating to encapsulation of pharmaceuticals by organic and colloidal reagents. Work-study positions are available for Spring 2019. Flexible hours Monday through Friday between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis and reviewed as the need arises.
