Description

The Office of Disability Service at Penn State Behrend is accepting applications for student note takers for the FA18/SP19 academic year. Appointments are for a single semester. Note Takers provide note taking services as an academic adjustment for students with disabilities for specific classes during the semester. Student note takers must meet the following criteria: Have excellent attendance and listening skills; Be enrolled in the course for which they are taking notes; Take notes that are an accurate representation of the instructor’s lecture; Submit notes within 24 hours of class; Complete on-line note taking training and provide a copy of the Certificate of Completion within one week of hire; Be responsible for submitting timesheets through WorkLion.
