Description

The Department of Campus Recreation is hiring for Student Managers within various work units within the department. A Student Manager is responsible for helping train, schedule and evaluate instructors/staff within content area of expertise (e.g. Outdoor Adventures, Aquatics, Fitness and Wellness, Competitive Sports, Facilities and Operations, Membership, Tennis, First Aid/CPR/AED). Student Managers may be assigned special projects specific to their assigned work units. First Aid/CPR/AED certification required. Positions are available year-round. Campus Recreation is a department within Student Affairs that provides fitness, wellness, and recreational programs to the campus community through the operation and administration of the new expanded and renovated 200,000 sf Intramural Building, the McCoy Natatorium, the 700-acre Stone Valley Outdoor Recreation Area, a Tennis Center including six clay courts and four indoor courts, the White Building, Outdoor Adventures, Aquatics, Club Sports, Fitness and Wellness Programs, and Intramural Sports. The pay rate for this position will be $10.50
